(Lisbon, ND) -- A North Dakota funeral home has closed suddenly.
Armstrong Funeral Home served Lisbon, Enderlin, and Gwinner. Armstrong hasn't released a statement regarding the reason for the closure. Executive Director of North Dakota Funeral Directors Association Jeffrey Nathan says other homes usually take over services when a home closes suddenly.
North Dakota law protects pre-needs contracts, which can be taken to other funeral homes than the one where they were originally arranged.
