(Pierre, SD) -- A wrongful death lawsuit brought against South Dakota Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg is being settled.
Jenny Boever's attorney Matthew Tysdal confirmed that the suit was being settled, and that the terms are confidential. Ravnsborg hit and killed Boever's husband Joe last September on U.S. Highway 14 while driving back to Pierre following a political event.
Investigators say Ravnsborg was distracted and using an electronic device when he hit Joe Boever.
