(Williston, ND) -- Job availability in northwestern North Dakota is booming.
A Job Service report for August shows there are more openings than job seekers in Williams, Divide, and McKenzie Counties. Many of the jobs are in healthcare, transportation, and construction.
Job Service says the number of people coming into the agency is up slightly, but overall numbers are still down compared to 2020.
Unemployment figures in Williams and McKenzie Counties are well above the state's average.
