(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota transmission workers are watching to see what the impact of Hurricane Ida is on the state's electric grid.
Transmission Authority Director John Weeda says capacity through the lines has decreased. Weeda says the storm is creating a shift in the supply to the power grid.
The market price for electricity has gone up over ten dollars more than the usual price in some areas in the last few days.
