(Parshall, ND) -- Parshall School Board President Michelle Hoff says the board has hired an outside accountant in response to a recent audit.
The office of the State Auditor found incorrect bank reconciliations that caused a three-million-dollar difference in the balance. It also showed missing documentation for over a half-million dollars in purchases and health insurance benefits for two individuals who aren't current employees.
No instances of fraud were found.
