Judge: UND Administrator Did Not Discriminate Against Campus Police Chief

(Grand Forks, ND) -- A judge says one University of North Dakota administrator is clear of discrimination allegations.

The judge ruled Tuesday that associate vice president of student affairs and diversity Cassie Gerhardt did not discriminate against campus police chief Eric Plummer. Plummer filed a complaint against Gerhardt and another UND administrator in February claiming they harassed and discriminated against him and created a hostile work environment because of his political beliefs.

In a previous and separate ruling, vice president of student affairs Cara Halgren was found to have discriminated against Plummer after learning he had voted for Donald Trump in 2016.
