Governor Walz Orders Flags at Half-Staff for Fallen Officer Bialke

(St. Paul, MN) -- A GoFundMe Page, and now, Minnesota's Governor is honoring fallen Red Lake Nation Police Officer Ryan Bialke.

Governor Tim Walz has ordered all United States and Minnesota flags be flown at half-staff at all State buildings in Minnesota, from sunrise until sunset Monday in honor and remembrance of Bialke, who was killed in the line of duty on Tuesday.

The word on Walz's decision came down after news broke that Bialke's funeral would be held Monday as well.

Bialke is survived by his wife Hester, his four children, his family and relatives, and numerous friends.

Walz did mention that individuals, businesses, and other organizations are also encouraged to join in lowering their flags in honor and remembrance of the Officer's service.
