(Bismarck, ND) -- COVID-19 variants are spreading across North Dakota.
The most prominent is the delta variant, which is responsible for driving increases in new and active case numbers.
The state reported 35 new cases Thursday, along with nearly 225 active cases of the virus.
Over 111-thousand North Dakotans have tested positive for COVID-19 and more than 15-hundred have died since the pandemic began.
