Bismarck Officials Warn Against Drinking And Using Electric Scooters

(Bismarck, ND) -- Bismarck officials are asking people to not use electric scooters while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  

Bird, the company used in the city, is adding a feature that requires people to activate the devices sober from the hours of 10 p.m. until 4 a.m.  

Bismarck Police say anyone drinking and operating a motorized vehicle is not making a good decision.  

It's against the law to use a scooter while under the influence in the city.
