(Detroit Lakes, MN) -- A motorcyclist is dead following yesterday's late-afternoon collision in Detroit Lakes. Troopers say the motorcycle and a Dodge pickup were headed east on Highway 34 near Highland Drive when both vehicles collided shortly after 4:30 p.m. The 74-year-old motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene. His identity reportedly is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. No other injuries were reported. Troopers are investigating.
