(Stearns County, MN) -- A teen is dead following a car accident in central Minnesota. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 16-year-old Kailey James died last week while driving north on County Road 9. According to reports, James was traveling down the road when she veered off the road and struck a utility pole. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff's office says the crash remains under investigation.
