(Bismarck, ND) -- Nearly three-dozen state attorneys general and nine pharmacy associations are supporting a North Dakota law meant to regulate pharmacy benefit managers.
The groups announced that they had filed friend-of-the-court briefs supporting the law this past week.
A pharmacy benefit managers trade group filed suit in 2017 to challenge a North Dakota law that provided oversight of the workers and required some financial disclosures.
A federal appeals court ruled the North Dakota law is preempted by federal law.
The case is headed back to appellate court.
