(Jamestown, ND) -- A North Dakota Humane Society is reminding people to keep pets safe in the heat.
The James River location says people need to keep their animals cool. They can purchase a cooling vest or mat.
Owners also need to remember pavement can be hot and burn pet paws.
The Humane Society is hosting a rummage sale on July 10th.
