(Fargo, ND) -- Efforts to put term limits on state lawmakers and the North Dakota governor are underway.
A petition for this measure is at the Secretary of State's Office for a review.
Under the proposal, governors in North Dakota could only serve two-terms in-office, while lawmakers would be limited to eight-years.
Currently there's no limit.
