(St. Paul, MN) -- State lawmakers are relieved after avoiding a partial government shutdown. Late Wednesday night, the Senate unanimously approved the 21-billion-dollar K-through-12 education funding agreement, which was the last must-pass bill before the deadline. Governor Tim Walz has now signed eight budget bills into law and has four others on his desk.
