(Grand Forks, ND) -- The troubled Ambassador Motel in Grand Forks is facing demolition. The Grand Forks city council voted unanimously yesterday to tear down the building. The motel was deemed unsafe by city inspectors in April. Kenton McGregor manages the trust that owns the building and objected to the council's proposal, asking for enough time to sell it to a buyer that would eventually demolish the building.
