(Grand Forks, ND) -- Three people are injured after a head-on crash involving a pickup and an SUV near Grand Forks. Authorities say a pickup driven by 20-year-old Valentin Mendoza crossed the center line on Highway 220 and crashed into an SUV with two teen boys inside. The 17-year-old driver of the other vehicle and his 16-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Mendoza was also taken to the hospital for undisclosed injuries.
