(Oakes, ND) -- One is dead after a rollover crash that happened this morning around 1:30 about 4 miles south of Oakes. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says an SUV was eastbound on Highway 11 at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control near Milemarker 109, entered a ditch and overcorrected, causing a rollover. The driver was ejected from the SUV and died at the scene. Authorities say drugs and alcohol were a factor in the crash. NDHP is investigating.
