(Wahpeton, ND) -- Two people are dead following yesterday's pre-dawn shooting in Wahpeton. According to a department spokesperson, officers were called to a home on the city's north side around 2:30 a.m. after a woman said a man had threatened her with a firearm. Officers reportedly arrived to the sound of at least one gunshot. That prompted the deployment of Special Response Team officers, who entered the home and discovered the bodies of a man and woman, both of whom had been shot. Police are investigating.
