GF Considering Granting Permanent Status To Alcohol Delivery, Carryout

(Grand Forks, ND)  --  Grand Forks leaders are considering granting permanent allowance of alcohol delivery and carryout service.  A temporary order was issued early last year by then-Mayor Mike Brown allowing alcohol to be sold along with delivery or carryout food orders.  Council members are weighing whether to allow certain kinds of bars and restaurants to continue the practice permanently.  Most liquor store owners are against making the policy permanent and say bars and restaurants won't utilize the change anyway.
