(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Forest Service and National Guard are training for wildfire season.
Over the weekend the groups used hands-on drills to practice fighting fires, especially if the drought continues.
About 20-guard members completed the program and received Basic Firefighter Level 2 qualification.
Officials say this equips them to help when grass fires pop-up in the state.
