(Minot, ND) -- Funding for the Livestock Water Assistance Program is increasing as the drought increases. Lawmakers added one-and-a-half-million dollars to the program to help ranchers make their land more drought resistance. The State Water Commission also approved 400-thousand-dollars' worth of projects as the program kicks off. The program provides cost-share assistance to producers with water shortages during the drought.
