(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota House is advancing a bill that would put a time limit on voting in person at the end of Election Day. The state House passed a bill Friday that changes aspects of the election code. The most significant change gives voters receiving their ballots after the polls close 30 minutes to vote and have it counted that night. Those who hit the time limit before they're done can turn in a partially filled ballot, or continue on and have their ballot counted later like an absentee vote. The legislation passed the House unanimously, and now heads to the Senate.
