(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is joining 14 other governors in opposing President Biden's 30 by 30 plan. Biden's plan would conserve 30- percent of U.S. lands and waters by 2030 and was created by executive order in January. The governors opposing the plan took the opportunity of Earth Month to say they are "deeply concerned" about efforts to restrict the use of public lands. Burgum has also tweeted his views on the issue, saying the state will resist attempts by the federal government to "infringe on the private property rights of our citizens."
