(Bismarck, ND) -- Governor Doug Burgum is receiving a bill focused on the reliability of the power grid. The final version of the bill would affect several parts of state government and utility companies. It would require the North Dakota Transmission Authority to participate in studies and prepare an annual report about the reliability of the power grid. It also allows fines against utilities for failing to provide reliable service.
