Bill For ND Capitol Accessibility Upgrades Heads To Governor's Desk

(Bismarck, ND)  --  A bill providing for accessibility upgrades at the North Dakota Capitol is headed to Governor Doug Burgum's desk.  The bill budgets up to 750-thousand dollars from a state building fund for the improvements.  The upgrades will bring much of the Capitol in line with 2010 standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  If Burgum signs the bill, it will become effective immediately.
