(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota State Senate is rejecting a bill that would have sidestepped federal gun regulations. The bill would have freed firearms and ammo manufactured and used only in North Dakota from federal regulations. Lawmakers against the bill said it would have been difficult to enforce and would have opened up the state to federal litigation.
