(Minneapolis, MN) -- Witness testimony will resume this morning in the murder trial of the former police officer accused of killing George Floyd. A witness who was in the car with Floyd when he was approached by Minneapolis police officers says he'll be pleading the Fifth if called to testify, to protect against self-incrimination. Prosecutors argue Floyd died because officer Derek Chauvin [[ sho-vin ]] held his knee on his neck for over nine minutes. Floyd was being detained for allegedly using a counterfeit 20-dollar bill at a convenience store.
