(Bismarck, ND) -- A new bill could allow some trucks and tractors to exceed the maximum length and weight under a pilot program. The state House passed an amended version of the bill yesterday that would allow some trucks and tractors to use more than one trailer. The pilot program would be run by the Department of Transportation and would need to be approved by Congress. The bill is headed back to the Senate for approval of the House changes.
