(Rapid City, SD) -- Mount Rushmore is closed and Black Hills homes are continuing to be evacuated as the Schroeder Fire expands. The blaze started yesterday morning and has destroyed at least two homes in West Rapid City and several outbuildings. Between 400 and 500 homes have been evacuated in the area as the flames have burned an estimated 19-hundred acres.
