(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota legislature has approved a bill to help provide homeless youth with healthcare insurance. The bill lets homeless youth access healthcare without parental consent. The youth must be 14 years of age or older to qualify for the health insurance. Homeless advocates say it definitely fills a need and eliminates a barrier to health insurance for homeless youth.
