Diocese Of Bismarck Okays J&J Vaccine If No Other Choice

(Bismarck, ND)  --  The Diocese of Bismarck is okaying the Johnson and Johnson vaccine for Catholics is there is no other option available.  Father Robert Shea says the Johnson and Johnson vaccine can be received in good conscience, but should be avoided if alternatives are available.  The vaccine does not contain aborted fetal tissue or cells, but was developed using cells multiplied over 35 years that originally came from an aborted fetus.  North Dakota received its first shipment of 63-hundred doses of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine Friday.
