Grand Forks Rescinds Mask Mandate

(Grand Forks, ND) -- If you live in Grand Forks, you no longer are 'required' to wear a mask out in pubic.

The mask mandate put in place by city leaders was rescinded Monday afternoon.

Officials say the decision arose from 14 consecutive days of low COVID-19 numbers across the state.

Walsh County, which is just north of Grand Forks, has also pulled it's mask mandate, effective Tuesday at 11:59 p.m.

In the meantime, Fargo's mask mandate is set to expire on March 22nd. The Fargo City Commission will meet that day to officially decide if they will follow what Grand Forks has done, or extend the mandate longer.
