Lawsuit Alleges UND Unresponsive To Sexual Misconduct Reports

(Grand Forks, ND)  --  A federal lawsuit alleges that the University of North Dakota failed to protect a social work student from sexual harassment and abuse.  The suit was filed yesterday claims former UND professor Andrew Quinn sexually harassed and abused then-student Aereauna Houle.  Allegations in the lawsuit claim UND delayed action and was "wholly ineffective" in stopping Quinn's abuse of Houle.  The lawsuit seeks compensatory damages of over 75-thousand dollars.  UND hasn't commented on the suit, citing pending litigation.
