(Bismarck, ND) -- A file documenting allegations of inappropriate comments and harassment by Representative Luke Simons is being made public. Legislative Council Director John Bjornson has been keeping notes about allegations made by staff and discussions with legislative leaders since 2018. Simons has denied making inappropriate statements that are alleged in the documents. The names of most of the women involved in the allegations have been kept private because they fear retribution personally and in the workplace. Representatives Brandy Pyle and Karla Rose Hanson have both publicly spoken about incidents of harassment involving Simons. No formal allegations have been filed.
