ND Senate Rejects Cap On Insulin Co-Pays

(Bismarck, ND)  --  The North Dakota Senate is rejecting a cap on insulin co-pays.  The Senate defeated a bill yesterday that would have set a 25-dollar limit on cost-sharing charges on insulin for state employees.  The limit was meant to dip a toe into the water before putting forward a broader bill.  Opponents believed that the bill would have put North Dakota on a path to insurance regulation and wouldn't solve the issue at hand.
