(Pierre, SD) -- South Dakota House members are discussing possible impeachment proceedings against Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg. Multiple GOP leaders confirmed to the Argus Leader yesterday that members are actively considering potentially impeaching Ravnsborg. If impeachment charges are filed in the South Dakota Legislature, it would mean Ravnsborg would no longer be able to serve as an elected official while the charges are pending. Ravnsborg said last week through a spokesperson that he won't resign after being charged with three traffic misdemeanors in connection with a deadly crash.
