(Washington, DC)  --  Four bills are expected to be voted on and passed in the House today that cover a range of foreign topics including Ukraine.

The first three bills would send aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. The fourth bill would sanction Iran and seize Russian assets to help fund Ukraine and includes a measure to ban the social media app TikTok. Three Republicans; Representatives Majorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar, and Thomas Massie have threatened to oust GOP Speaker Mike Johnson for passing the bipartisan Ukraine legislation.

“We need a Speaker who puts America first rather than bending to the reckless demands of the warmongers, neo-cons and the military industrial complex making billions from a costly and endless war half a world away,” Gosar said in a statement issued on Friday.

If all Democrats vote with the three Republicans, Johnson would lose an attempt to maintain his speakership.
