(Los Angeles, CA) -- HBO's "Succession" leads this year's Primetime Emmy Awards nominations with 27.
The Emmys unveiled the nominees for the 75th edition of the awards ceremony Wednesday as the writers strike continues and a possible actors strike looms.
Among the nominations "Succession" received for its final season are best drama, best actress and three for best actor.
Apple TV-Plus series "Ted Lasso" dominates the comedy field with 21 nominations.
The late Ray Liotta received a posthumous nomination for best supporting actor in a limited or anthology series for his role in "Black Bird."
The ceremony is currently scheduled to be held September 18th in Los Angeles.
