(New Iberia, LA) -- The family of a Louisiana Arby's employee who was found dead in a freezer earlier this month is filing a lawsuit.

Relatives claim the latch to the walk-in freezer at the restaurant in New Iberia, south of Lafayette, was broken, trapping the woman inside. The victim is identified as Nguyet Le, a 63-year-old from Texas. Authorities said there was blood on the freezer door, signifying that Le tried to fight her way out before she died. Her body was found by her son, who also worked at the restaurant.

The lawsuit names franchise owner Turbo Restaurants LLC as the defendant, and seeks at least a million dollars in damages.
