(Fargo, ND) -- An overwhelming majority of younger professionals say they would quit their jobs over company values.

A new survey by LinkedIn found nearly nine in ten Gen Z and Millennial professionals would be prepared to leave a job and go to another company whose values more closely aligned with their own.

Researchers said younger generations want to work for companies where they can evoke change and make a difference. The numbers aren't quite as dramatic for Gen X professionals, but still substantial at 70-percent.

Gen Z covers people age 26 and younger while Millennials are those ages 27 to 42 and Gen X refers to people in their mid-40s to late 50s.
