(Warren, MI) -- A customer of a Michigan market is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a clerk with a frozen fish.

Police said a man went to the market on Sunday but the fish counter was closed due to Ramadan.

He began arguing with the clerk and then picked up a four-pound frozen fish and hit the worker in the head. The worker was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The man has been arraigned on aggravated assault and was given a five-thousand dollar bond.
