(Washington, DC) -- Interest rates are going up yet again.
The Federal Reserve's latest rate hike, announced Wednesday, was a quarter of a percentage point.
The increase comes as the Fed tries to get a hold of inflation that hasn't been seen in decades.
The central bank went ahead with the increase despite some analysts believing there might have been a pause after a series of shocks to the banking system.
