(Washington, DC) -- Two potential candidates in the 2024 Republican presidential race will be skipping CPAC this week.
The Conservative Political Action Conference is underway near Washington, DC, and former President Donald Trump will be the headline speaker.
Also attending will be his only announced challenger, former South Carolina Governor and U.N., Ambassador Nikki Haley.
Likely contenders Ron DeSantis and Mike Pence are skipping the conference and will instead attend an event in Florida hosted by the conservative organization Club for Growth.
