Rare Harley becomes most expensive motorcycle sold at auction

(Las Vegas, NV) -- A rare 1908 Harley-Davidson motorcycle is now the most expensive bike every sold at auction.

Mecum Auction in Las Vegas took to Facebook to share that a "Strap Tank" motorcycle sold for 935-thousand dollars on January 28th.

The record-breaking bike had been restored, but is believed to be only one of a dozen or so left in the world.

A 1907 Strap Tank that was not restored previously sold for 715-thousand.
