Nominees for 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced

(Cleveland, OH) -- The wait is over, as the 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class nominees have officially been announced.

In a video posted to their social media platforms Wednesday morning, Rock Hall President and CEO Greg Harris announced that 14 artists and bands are being considered for this year's class. They include:

  • George Michael
  • Kate Bush
  • Missy Elliott
  • The White Stripes
  • Sheryl Crow
  • Iron Maiden
  • Joy Division/New Order
  • Cyndi Lauper
  • Willie Nelson
  • Rage Against the Machine
  • Soundgarden
  • The Spinners
  • A Tribe Called Quest
  • Warren Zevon
