(Redmond, WA) -- Microsoft says its plan to acquire video-game publisher Activision Blizzard would not hurt competition.
The tech giant on Thursday filed a response to FTC regulators' antitrust case aimed at blocking the 68-point-seven billion dollar deal.
Microsoft said the acquisition would make playing Activision Blizzard's games, including Call of Duty, more affordable since Activision Blizzard hasn't made its new games available through subscription services such as Microsoft's Game Pass.
Microsoft said it's made it clear it won't withhold Activision Blizzard's games.
