(Washington, DC) -- The White House reportedly is considering the possibility that Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen could leave the Biden administration after the midterm elections.

According to a report in Axios on Tuesday, Yellen and National Economic Council Director might be ready to resign their posts.

The report said Yellen has disagreed with some of President Biden's policies, such as blaming corporations for high inflation and his decision to forgive student debt.

However, Axios also reported that Yellen would be likely to stay on if the economy were to experience more turbulence.
