(Trenton, NJ) -- New Jersey's Governor does not say "no" when asked about 2024 presidential run.
Phil Murphy was on "Fox News Sunday," booked to talk about his planned review of New Jersey's COVID-19 response including extended school closings and 95-hundred nursing home deaths.
But, questioning quickly turned to 2024 and Murphy's White House ambitions. The Governor, who's considered a strong Democratic contender, said he'll back President Biden if he runs again and says he hasn't met with potential donors.
Murphy's supporters have launched political organizations that could raise his national profile. He could be one of several candidates for the Democratic party if Biden decides to not run again in 2024. Others include Vice President Kamala Harris and California Governor Gavin Newsome.
Popular possible candidates for the Republican party in 2024 include former President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.
None of the mentioned above candidates, including President Biden, have indicated officially yet they plan to run in 2024.
