(Saudi Arabia) -- Saudi Arabia is building a tall, narrow city snaking more than 100 miles through the desert.

The sustainable city is called 'The Line'. Newly unveiled design concepts show a futuristic walled city in the Kingdom's northwest, more than 105 miles long, about 200 yards wide, with no roads or cars and running entirely on renewable energy.

People living there will able to run errands with a five-minute walk and high-speed trains will carry people from one end to the other in 20 minutes.

Construction is already underway on the city that will stretch from the Red Sea east across the desert to a mountain range. Saudi Arabia says one-point-five million people will be living in The Line by 2030.
